SIMPLE MELODY GENERATOR CIRCUIT USING UM66

Here we are going to discuss about SIMPLE MELODY MAKER CIRCUIT USING UM66 IC AND A NPN TRANSISTOR BC548.

Um66 Ic is designed to produce a melodious tone which is inbuilted. We can't alter the tone. This circuit may applicable to various alarm circuits, tone generating circuits and so on.

WORKING PRINCIPLE OF SIMPLE MELODY MAKER

The circuit mainly consisting of

• UM66 IC
  
  
• NPN Transistor BC548
  
  
• SPEAKER
  
  
• 6V Battery
  

The Ic um66 will produce melodious tone, the output from pin 1 is fed directly to the base of an NPN transistor BC548 via a current limiting Resistor 220 ohms. The transistor will amplify the tone, which is enough to drive the Loud speaker. You check some of our Projects using UM66 IC
